Patti's Quiche - Featured in Deep Freeze Christmas

This quiche only requires 2 eggs.
Freezes and microwaves well.

Patti's Quiche - Featured in Deep Freeze Christmas


  • 1 ready made pie crust (Pillsbury is my favorite)

  • 1 lb of Jimmy Dean (or other brand) hot pork sausage

  • 1 small onion, diced

  • 1/2 of green bell pepper, diced

  • 1/2 cup of milk

  • 1/2 cup of mayonaise

  • 2 Tlbs cornstarch

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 cups of cheddar cheese, grated

  • 1 small can mushrooms, chopped (optional)


  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees

  • Spray quiche dish or pie plate with non-stick spray and line with pie crust

  • In a large skillet, brown on medium heat the sausage, onions, and bell pepper. Drain and allow to cool slightly.

  • In a large bowl mix together remaining ingredients.

  • After sausage mixture is allowed to cool slightly, add to bowl and mix to blend all ingredients

  • Pour into pie crust and bake at 350 degress for 45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into center comes out clean
